Ever dealt with ends falling off a scoop coater? With the BASELAYR Dual Edge Scoop Coater, you don’t have to worry about it. Simply screw on the plastic end caps and they’ll stay in place forever. For a deeper clean, you can always take it apart and do some real scrubbing.
The BASELAYR Dual Edge Scoop Coater has two edges. One is more rounded and used for creating a slightly thicker layer of emulsion for more ink deposits onto the garment when printing. Thicker emulsion layers are useful when printing on sweatshirts and other high-density applications. The other edge of the scoop coater is sharper, allowing you to coat a screen with a thin layer of emulsion. Thinner layers are great for printing water-based and discharge inks, or if you want a softer hand on your garment.
Screens are measured to the outside diameter, so choose a scoop coater 4" smaller than your screen size. For example, a 20" x 24" screen will only require a 16-inch scoop coater. With the variety of sizes available, you can easily select a scoop coater that’ll fit a job’s needs.
